I had a curious error when I tried to build Plplot and the C and C++ examples
with VS 2010. Something to do with the macro WIN32. But when I tried to
identify the exact configuration (32 bits, 64 bits, something described as
"cross tools"), the problem had disappeared.
However, using only C and C++ did bring up an issue I had not noticed before:
VS 2010 complains about MIN() and MAX() in examples x08.cc and x33.cc - loss of
precision going from PLFLT to PLINT. I have stared at the code but as far as I
can tell there should be no mixup of precisions. It is probably nothing
important, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.
Regards,
Arjen
