Hi Arjen: I am actually quite pleased it got as far as it did (to the very last test, i.e., static build, traditional install tree) before it failed. That means the two fixes I made for the Cygwin issues you discovered before (which happened much sooner in the comprehensive test) are working properly even though one of those fixes was just an educated guess. It appears from my quick look at this latest Cygwin issue you discovered there is trouble for the static case with linking Fortran executables with Fortran, C, and C++ libraries together for the traditional build of the fortran examples. I will take a look at what happens for the CMake build versus the traditional build for fortran examples for the static case on Cygwin versus Linux, and that might provide some insight. Since this issue is happening for the static case, it is possible if I reorder the libraries that are linked, that I can solve this issue. But we will see, and it may take me a few days to get back to you with a possible fix. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
