Hi Arjen: Thanks for giving your above agreement to this change. I have decided to move ahead with it by replacing "f95" and "F95" _everywhere_ in the source tree by "fortran" and "Fortran". The use of "git mv" to rename files; find and grep to find all files that contain f95 or F95; and "sed -i" to automatically make the change to those files (other than historical ones such as the ChangeLog) has made this large change tractable in just a few hours. I started this last night, and I am almost done now, but I need to follow up with a comprehensive test (both interactive and active) and several other tests of this intrusive change I have in mind before I make the commit and push it. Thus, because the tests will take a lot of time, you will probably only see that push much later today or early tomorrow. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
