Thanks for that additional testing. My impression is that debug builds are not well tested for CMake. For example, even for Linux I have recently found some CMake bugs for that case. These are not showstoppers but instead minor issues for certain compiler flags. Nevertheless, these bugs indicate a certain lack of CMake testing for the debug case.
