If there is a floating point value to select the orientation,
it should be possible to use it with floats.
I looked into the ref-man now,
and there was mentioned that it is intended to use it
with values 0, 1, 2, and 3.
But why not an int-value for that? The design is not clear here.
If there is the possibility to have floating poibnt values,
they should be supported, IMHO.
