I do not see the function plAllocGrid in the API documentation (or anywhere in the source, for that matter). I do see plAlloc2dGrid in the specialized C API. The current Perl/PDL bindings (which are probably out of date) have both. I'm debugging some old test code that calls plAllocGrid before plshades, and then segfaults on plshades. So I am wondering if that is a typo, or if the function used to exist and has been removed from the API? If the latter, does anybody know the approximate version number where that happened? Was it before 5.8.0?
