I am pleased to report on behalf of the PLplot developers that
PLplot-5.9.10 is now available for you to download, build, and test.
For details of this latest release, please follow the links in
http://sourceforge.net/p/plplot/news/2013/10/plplot-release-5910/

The README.release and ChangeLog.release files in plplot-5.9.10.tar.gz
are of particular interest. Note, especially the backwards
incompatible changes in the API for this release due to changing all
line width arguments from integer to floating point values.

As a result of our extensive testing of this release on a wide variety
of platforms (including several Linux variants, Mac OS X, and several
Windows variants including MinGW/MSYS, Cygwin, and MSVC/IFORT) we believe
errors in this release are minimized, but, as always, we welcome your
feedback if you find any issues.

If you download both plplot-5.9.10.tar.gz.asc and plplot-5.9.10.tar.gz
you can run "gpg --verify plplot-5.9.10.tar.gz.asc"
to verify that Alan W. Irwin identified by

is the author of plplot-5.9.10.tar.gz and you have downloaded that
tarball without any bit errors.

Please also take a look at plplot.sf.net which has been substantially
updated as part of this release process. Previously broken links have
been fixed, and the documentation (now including details of the new
pllegend and plcolorbar capabilities and many other fixes) has been
updated.

Have fun with this new version of PLplot!

Alan
