OK, more Infos:
Trying to Display Bitmaps with a higher bit depth as the Palm screen
can handle, do not work on PalmOS < 3.5.
That's why the Viewer display "[img xbpp]" instead. But on PalmOS 3.5
and newer the OS reduce the Colors if you try to display images with a
higher bit depth then allowed, so the viewer could show this images
and not the "[img xbpp]".
In Short:
- (Bit Depth of the image more then the current screen depth) AND (OS < 3.5)
--> Show "[img xbpp]" and not the Images.
- (Bit Depth of the image more then the current screen depth) AND (OS >= 3.5)
--> Show the Images and not the "[img xbpp]" Text String.
