As with many open-source projects, there's really no one to ask.  But
as one of the developers, I'm happy with it.  You can see my tour page

if you need more reasons why folks should use Plucker.

As far as I can tell, Plucker is really one of only two decent
open-format ebook readers around, for any computing platform.  (I
don't really count the Doc readers; they're simply juiced-up text
viewers.)  The other is Adobe Acrobat Reader, and that's not
open-source, and has other problems with its page-image model.
