Looks pretty sharp!
My own 2 cents on transcoding would be to ask the site owners. Considering
how much content providers have to shell out on other offline browsers
(rhymes with avantslow) to get their channel in a showcase, I think that of
the top providers there would be more than a few that would like to have
theirs profiled for free, since it brings more awareness of their product,
and gets it onto more peoples handhelds if they know about the service.
I think that they might ask that their ads be left intact (even though there
is that capability by the parser). I doubt they get paid by impression,
since other networks cache the content anyways, and serve it from their
server, so they can't trace the people who looked at their images anyways,
unless (I believe) they cough up some more money to that offline browser
company.
