This is a good idea. Nice catch. If there is still a request for a checkbox
to turn on shortcut- commandstroke-free menu entries to be added, will have
to rename '1' to something else too as it is a downstroke navigation.

This is somewhat by design. Tapping the menu icon, or calling up the menu
screen with the shortcut stops autoscroll, which was requested as a feature:
that all pen taps to scrollbars, menu, etc stops autoscroll immediately.
"Stop autoscroll" in the menu is acutally redundant, since as soon as you
hit the menu/called up shortcut, the autoscroll stopped already. There could
have been a third state for autoscroll added in, for keeping a "pause"
state, to be used to keep autoscroll track of autoscroll in a pause while
menu is displayed, then returned to old state, but was cut to keep things
smaller code. If you want to put in a third state for pause, by all means.
If so, you may wish to change the menu item to use a "Toggle Autoscroll"
instead of Autoscroll Start and Stop. The menucommand 'Autoscroll Faster'
should increase the autoscroll speed, but not start it (check its value in
its pref form to see if it changed up or down).
An easy patch with just an extra line of code would be to have 'Autoscroll
Faster' and 'Autoscroll Slower' menu commands call the functions for two
commands whenever selected:
1) Move speed up or down as required.
2) Start autoscroll.
Would that be acceptable?
Note you can assign any of the 4 hardware buttons and 5 gestures to an
increase/decrease speed if you like, as well as the graphical +/- buttons if
you run with a toolbar on. I think the +/- graphical buttons might be cut
though if need some room for an incumbent button in the future.

It seems to have a good home in both, and seems like a good spot for a
separator. If you are changing names of entries, you may consider "Details"
to "Page Details" ? (or some other delimiting adjective) to let know that
the settings therein only apply to the currently displayed page, and not the
entire website/channel/ebook/etc.
All fine ideas and comments. Best wishes from Ireland, Robert
