When I tried this using plucker-build, I get a color image David> which is too large to display (Alert message is shown). What way do you prefer: A Grayscale image or an large non usable color image i the DB? ;-) David> Is there something different in the Windows parser that perhaps is David> dithering down the image from color to greyscale instead of showing an alert David> message? Dirk? The Windows Image parser scale down/reduce colors of an image if its to large to display. The ini keys related are: max_tbmp_size= tbmp_compression= try_reduce_bpp= try_reduce_dimension= guess_tbmp_size= BTW: maybe try to set tbmp_compression=true and guess_tbmp_size=false (for bpp 1..8) help here to get larger bitmaps on newer palm os. I just see a title called 'bikini' under where there should David> be an icon, but is a blank space. The syntax I used for this was David> 'plucker-build -f /tmp/bikini --alt-maxwidth=500 --alt-maxheight=500'. This db is launchable but contain no icon, so the launcher should show the one from the associated program (plucker in this case). But there are a Bug in the Launcher (beside some other ones :-) that this icon disappear sometimes, so add an -icon are a good idea. BTW in Launcher III it work fine.
