What's your whole command line you call?

BTW: have you tryed the Python Image Library (PIL) and the PIL Image
Parser, there is mayby a PIL Port for the MAC also.

This is the normal error message if your home page could not be
converted. If your Home Document is an image and the ImageParser could
not convert the Image you get usually this error message.
