Perhaps.
Especially when stylesheets are available.

The HTML "compact" parameter for lists should be supported also, so can
optionally specify a tight bulleted list of one-line links at the top of a
plucker page (instead of inserting empty gaps between each line).

I believe it does in the latest version of the parser in the CVS, just not
released yet. Older versions use a lowercase letter 'o' as the top-level
bullet.
