I managed to get plucker working on Mac OS X, probably due to the fact that I have all sorts of packages installed from GNU-Darwin and fink, two Mac OS X-based distribution mechanisms.
The tools work out of the box, pretty much, using the unix instructions. pilot-link may or may not work, I haven't tried. I use Palm's latest beta for Mac OS X. James
