I would have responded to this sooner, but I just moved, and do not yet have
connectivity at home. That's also why I'm using this crappy web-based
mailer, so apologies for the formatting.

Anyway, to the point...

You don't have to use wget/cron to fetch the SlashPluck.pdb file. I wrote
slashpluck specifically to avoid having to do that; all you need is perl,
slashpluck, and a little time to set things up. You can get slashpluck here:

I have it setup to fetch the slashdot content when I run plucker-build and
put a link on my plucker home page. The README explains how to set this up.

Feel free to send me a message if you have questions, but my response time
is probably going to be very slow for the next couple of weeks.
