As of Friday's Parser and viewer, it seems on my local crawls that
on a PalmOS 3.3 grayscale Vx, that the color palette isn't reset back to black at the
end of
the page when viewing in a bpp>1, on a Plucker color test page:

http://www.rob.md/projects/plucker/2001_10_06/color_test.htm

This page has a color specified for the body text (as well as all the other color
behaviours).
All color behaviours are rendered perfectly.
However, on the grayscale OS 3.3, the palette seems to remain on the last drawn pen
color,
which then starts drawing the scrollbar, toolbuttons, and menus in that pen color.

It doesn't occur on a page where the text is a normal black with say, just a
horizontal rule
that is colored in gray.

It doesn't occur on POSE tests of the color debug ROMs that I have tried.

Is this reproducable by anyone? I think this may have crept in sometime since last
October (as
it used to not do this in October, and am on the same hardware device and the same
test page is
being used).

If I recall correctly, there were small forks in the viewer to handle both color APIs
to return
the palette back to normal after drawing the page, but the details are starting to get
a bit
fuzzy in my mind. ;-) Anyone more up-to-date on colour have some insight?

Best wishes,
Robert
