        I've suggested using what's already out there a few dozen times. The
best and most robust piece of code in C with a full GTK+ gui interface as
well is Pavuk. It supports hundreds of things we don't even come close to
(javascript, forms, ssl, cookie management, etc.). It has a few missing
parts that I personally would like to see, but I don't have the time to add
them to their list yet.

        I agree. There's a dozen types of parsers out there, wget,
sitescooper, pavuk, and handfuls of others. We should eventually focus on
"genericizing" the work of the parser, so you can decouple and encouple
whatever parser you want, as long as the "Goes'inta" and "Comes'outa" is
still the same.
