Yeah, most of my efforts in development have been with no preferences
in place. I was trying to make a consious effort to make sure
everything is 'upgradable'.. however, It shouldn't be too difficult to
write a subroutine that tries to mix/match variables together, pending
an upgrade.

Another option is to simply whipe the preferences automatically if the
versions of the preferences format change. I'll see what I can do
about writing that up.

All code within -hires should be downward compatible with PalmOS >=
2.0 devices. With a fresh slate, there should be no reason as to why
it would fail.
