Treat this jar file as an alpha release -- I've only run a few test
cases, and I'm sure there are lingering problems lurking in corners...

I just ran:

java -jar plucker-build.jar --bpp=8 --alt-maxheight=420 --alt-maxwidth=420 --zlib-compression --maxdepth=5 --stayonhost --launchable --doc-name="Java XML APIs" -f JavaXMLAPIs --home-url=http://java.sun.com/xml/jaxp/dist/1.1/docs/tutorial/overview/index.html --staybelow=http://java.sun.com/xml/jaxp/dist/1.1/docs/tutorial

and the resulting .pdb file was 241K.  Running with plucker-build.exe, the file is 200K. What is really interesting is that when I created the original file on 12-3-2001, it was 364K.  The file is readable in any case.  Any idea for the differences in file sizes?

One bug I can see from here is that it doesn't exit when it's
  finished.

This is fine with me, since you aren't yet creating a log file.

Also -- why are you requiring the "Pluckerhome" environment variable?
