Maybe that should tell you something, i.e. we don't consider it to be such a big issue ;-) I would think it is in Palm's best interest to make sure that any Palm OS 5 device still can run the vast amount of current Palm OS programs. Maybe you mean that it should be possible to compile Plucker using the Palm OS 5 SDK? That is not possible at the moment (it will require a few minor changes to the code base to fix that; the biggest problem is that Palm hasn't released a PalmOSGlue library for GCC). Or maybe you mean a native ARM application (Palm OS 5 devices will still run 68k apps, though)?
