I can't say if this has been fixed in 1.2, as the problem is only noticable on a HandEra, and the hires branch is still at 1.2beta13, it seems.
If you happen to have more than one memory card in the handheld, Plucker will list databases on all cards, but trying to pull them up results in "Cannot find document in RAM or on external card" except for one card. I can't say which card is the one that works in the general case, but on the case of the HandEra 330, if both slots are in use, files on the SD card will work and those in the CF slot won't. It's quite consistent in this respect. For those that aren't aware of this, the HandEra 330 has both SD and CF slots. I picked up a 128MB CF card when I got my HandEra, and it wasn't until this weekend that I picked up an MP3 player that takes MMC cards. Out of curiosity, I stuck one in my HandEra and learned two things. 1) Plucker seems to only want to pull docs from the first (or last?) volume it finds, and 2) MMC is dog slow compared to CF. (on the order of 15 times slower using the Backup tool). Before someone fires back with the usual "patches welcome" I should tell you that I might just take up this problem, depending on where this falls in my priority list, though it will probably be rather low priority since this only came up because I was goofing around. I've done HandEra programming before and like it, but I've got a list of two open-source projects that need a little HandEra optimization, and two that I want to do from the ground up. As for the silkscreen bug, the Silk and None setting for the Toolbar under preference seem to be reversed. Set the option to Silk and you get none, set it to None and you get the toolbar in the silkscreen area. Aside from these two quirks and a few forms that aren't getting rescaled, Plucker has better than average HandEra support (few programs would bother going as far as having controls in the silkscreen area of a minimized display). Excellent job :-) _______________________________________________ plucker-dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.rubberchicken.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-dev
