Heh, that's useful.. Plucker has a link inside it says labelled "Email the developers" - click it, and it gives me an email composition page. Take the email address and send an email to "the developers" and it gets rejected because I'm not on the dev team! Great. Nice one. Very impressive. That'll make sure every bug gets heard about.
Non-members who post to the -dev list are moderated, that's all. So the message probably will get to the dev team unless it's spam or not terribly full of information. But I will take this into account in the future, I may have rejected things a bit too hastily as I didn't know that link was still in the software. As I understand it the email address has changed now (to plucker-team) though I'm not sure if this has been reflected in the plucker code...
And the last one - do you not think it would be helpful to someone to know the 1.2b13 cannot be downloaded by IE, but other Mozilla-based browsers seem OK?
I think this was raised as a possible FAQ item, and is IIRC due to the fact that IE unzips the file but leaves the .gz extension on? The file is actually usable but misidentified. I agree that it should be mentioned somewhere and perhaps an alternative download format provided (.ZIP?) but as this is a volunteer project it's really up to the what the packager is able to do.
