Can I make a small suggestion? First some background:

        I just noticed that after tinkering around with Plucker Desktop a
few times, including deleting all of my "Channels" when I was done, left my
~/.pluckerrc in a somewhat "polluted" state of affairs. Generally, I like
to keep my .rc files very clean. Here's my .pluckerrc for example:

        [DEFAULT]
        verbosity                 = 2
        bpp                       = 8
        image_parser              = netpbm2
        copyprevention_bit        = false
        backup_bit                = false
        launchable_bit            = false
        icon                      = false
        zlib_compression          = true

        [POSIX]
        palm1bit_graymap_file     = /usr/lib/palmgray1.map
        palm2bit_graymap_file     = /usr/lib/palmgray2.map
        palm4bit_graymap_file     = /usr/lib/palmgray4.map
        palm8bit_stdcolormap_file = /usr/lib/palmcolor8.map
        auto_scale_images         = on
        status_line_length        = 200
        filename_extension        = plkr
        anchor_color              = blue

        After using Plucker Desktop for a few minutes, I noticed a bunch of
channel blocks stuffed in it, lots of other things that generally caused
some problems with my regular Plucker usage (i.e. plucker-build) when I was
done. Also, I notice that on Windows, the [OS2] and [POSIX] portions are
left in the plucker.ini file, probably not an ideal situation.

        Can we modify the behavior of Plucker Desktop a bit to support
~/.plucker/desktop.ini instead of writing to ~/.pluckerrc directly? It's an
easy process to grandfather in existing configurations, but I generally
don't like multiple tools writing and reading to the same .rc file, and
Plucker Desktop should be no exception here. Read it in with Plucker Desktop
for defaults, if it exists for setting Plucker-specific defaults, then add
_deltas_ and channels to ~/.plucker/desktop.ini for Plucker Desktop-specific
parts.

        I'm not sure how this carries over to Windows, but I'm sure the
standard plucker.ini can suffice there, once the [OS2] and [POSIX] bits are
gutted out of it.
