Thanks for the quick response. In response to what symptoms made me think it was not working?
In the select font dialog, I have 5 choices, all of which are the large fonts (as they appear to me), say versus the 8 within say SplashID, etc. Along with that the size is much different than Agendus in hires mode and the splash suite. So, this made me think it was not right. Next I looked at the screenshot http://hires.plkr.org/screenshots/hires_clie_gal.png which is a 320x320 Sony series shot. The number of lines and font size are different than how it appears on mine. I get about 10-13 lines displayed versus that screenshots 20+. So, this is what makes me think something is up.
