I'll take your word for that.  What I don't understand is why 1.41 is an
order of magnitude slower.  What all is it doing that it wasn't doing
before?

I prefer proper list handling, but faster than 1.41. :)  Do you see
Plucker 1.41 hadling document lists more slowly than 1.2 on your device?
If so, a _lot_ more slowly?

Paying work gets priority.  I wasn't expecting a fast fix.  I'm more
interested in _why_ it slowed down so much.
