I have about a dozen other CVS repositories that do work fine. plkr.org is
the only one that's giving me trouble.

It's probably my ISP. That said, plkr.org is the only site I have problems
with. These issues turn up every few weeks or so. On my Redhat 8.0
installation I can't connect to the web site at all(while every other site
flies).

Correct. I want to have the URL copied to the Palm clipboard, rather than
the memo DB. I might contribute something to the project, (perhaps a
Preferences switch to choose between copying the URL to the memo or the
clipboard) but for now I just want the viewer to work this way for my own
use.

It turned out that Mozilla had terminated the connection prematurely. I
downloaded the source again and managed to build the viewer on Redhat. I'd
much rather have a viewer based on 1.4 than the latest CVS, though.

I'm using Eclipse to browse and check out from CVS repositories.

That all said, every OSS project I know has a source distribution along with
the binary. (Plucker 1.2 also had a source distribution.) I don't see why
this can't be made available for 1.4 as well. There is an hourly snapshot of
the CVS source, but not of the stable release. Why the inconsistency?
