The only reservation I would have (well, two) is that the more
separate .prc files we have, the more we have to manage and deliver to the
end-users, and deal with:

"Hey, my jpegs don't show up."

        "Did you install SysJpeg.prc?"

        "Uh, no, where is that?"

We might want to think about shipping viewer_XX.prc, SysZLib.prc,
and friends in one .prc file that gets "unpacked" on the Palm at install
time. There are a few tools that do this, not sure if they're free or not.
If not, the users can deal with installing the .prc files manually, one at a
time. That's what they do now anyway. Most braindead users open up the .zip
file and double-click each .prc file to install it, without even reading the
README or finding out which one is the right one to install. I've seen it
way too many times.

The other reservation I have is regarding incompatibility between
the versions of the devices and APIs. If we use the ARM jpeg one, do we have
to use it on Sony devices? Is their implementation different from Palm's
own?
