It's working now. (I'm so dumb) I finally realized the the code that
you sent me _did_ have 'text' in the cell (a couple of carriage returns
and spaces):
<TD>
<IMG SRC="duck1.gif">
</TD>
The parser now throws away any cell text that is only white space.
