I'm going, for my own private use, to implement support for Lightspeed's
new OS5 overclock API---boost the speed of Plucker when searching and
maybe when rendering while lowering its speed when idle. This seems the
kind of hardware AND software dependent thing that we won't want to
incorporate in the official code (though maybe one could do it through PPI
and insert PPI calls in the right places?), but it's something I really
want for my own use. But I thought I'd post this note, just in case I'm
wrong about my assumption that this isn't something that should go into
the official tree.
