What is the proper order of settings precedence?
Should channel-specific information from the system
administrator override the user's own (non-channel-
specific) Defaults?
More generally:
Information can come from any of the following:
Command line
Channel information in user's plucker.ini
Default information in user's plucker.ini
System information in user's plucker.ini (POSIX or WINDOWS)
Channel information in user's plucker.ini
Default information in user's plucker.ini
System information in user's plucker.ini (POSIX or WINDOWS)
other config info - such as pluck .jxl?
Program Defaults
For now, there is no "other config info". We ignore pluck.jxl --
is this reasonable, or should there be a way to go back and forth?
Is there a good reason to keep the system information separate, even
though we don't limit what sorts of information can be in there? At
the moment, I'm assuming it should override DEFAULT, as it might
be used to keep the same plucker.ini on different computers -- but
wouldn't computer name be a better choice?
