I'm having trouble with generating a properly functioning viewer binary
under WinXP/cygwin. Everything used to work fine until fairly recently,
though maybe I just hadn't noticed the problem. But I've just noticed that
I'm having a problem with prefs panes not getting fully erased with my
binaries. Specifically, going from the buttons pane to any other else
leaves the button outlines drawn--only the insides are erased. The snapshot
from www.plkr.org is fine. So is a copy compiled on my WinME/cygwin system.

When I first noticed the problem, I fooled around a little and noticed that
FrmHideObject() doesn't hide button frames for the buttons on the buttons
pane, but only hides the inside. When I found that the snapshot works fine,
I updated all of my build tools (prc-tools, pilrc, etc.) to the latest
versions. Problem remains. I tried compiling an early February version,
and the problem is still there.

I wonder if the proble isn't with my pilrc or prc-tools version or something
like that. I'm now using pilrc 3.1 and prc-tools 2.3. Anybody else have
the problem?

Alex
