And since the copyright owner probably doesn't want the data to be converted into an open format, we probably can't presume such permission. I wonder if it would be legally any better if we converted it into an ENCRYPTED Plucker doc, with the encryption key being not just the Hotsync name, but the Hotsync name plus credit card number?
