Hello, I'm a semi-almost-computer-literate person who had to update to a new laptop and I need to move my Plucker files to the new system.
So far I have: Installed Plucker to Programs. Installed Palm software. Copied the Channels folder from the old computer onto the new one. Everything worked well for 2 days... Now, even with all the channels copied to the new computer, the channels section on Plucker Desktop would only show Clinical Exam. When I would try to HotSync, the log would say updating was turned off in Plucker. *confused* I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and everything. Today, when starting Plucker Desktop, I get an error window that says "can't remove file 'C:\Program Files\Plucker\plucker.ini' (error 5: access is denied) Is there some 1 or 0 I'm supposed to be changing somewhere in that file? I know I have to update all the channels for files that are now on new places on this computer, but I do not know what file it is trying to remove (or even why it's trying to remove it). With this error, I cannot HotSync at all. The HotSync starts and then stops because of this Plucker error. Can anyone give some assistance on this? Thanks! Wendy
