The solution to the problem wasn't to give up and try something else :) There are plenty of ways to achieve what you're trying to do, on the platform you're trying to do it on. Plenty of tools exist to "fix" the broken MS-HTML your word processor is outputting, as well as cleaning up other HTML from other sources. Alternately, you can just install OpenOffice.org on your Windows machine and continue to use that, instead of the Linux machine. Plucker works well on all of the major operating systems (and through my "Plucker Email Reflector", even supports operating systems that won't run Plucker :) -- David A.
