Plucker desktop is just a program to distill HTML documents to plucker databases, and SunriseXP is just another program to do the same thing. That is, both tools procuce documents in the same format. What I meant saying that documents produced by these programs may differ, is that, say, SunriseXP is known to color unreachable (not distilled) links in a document in red, while the "native" Plucker distiller colors them "as is". I think it's better to just try it out on sample documents and see. Also, I never used "synchronisation" facilities of either piece of these software, though, so I'm not up to the task of comparing this aspect of their work (I just copy the generated files to a SD card and insert it back to the handheld).
