I run Plucker on a Tapwave Zodiac 2, which is a Palm OS 5.26 device. The Plucker version is 1.8, installed in RAM.
Plucker documents live on an SD card. In all, there are 3,411 Plucker files, living in /Palm/Programs/Plucker, and occupying 1.58GB of a 2GB card. (Yes, I am a pack rat.) I recently converted half a dozen HTML document to Plucker format, and copied them to the card with a USB reader. I use the high compression option, and have sysZlib installed. I then put the card back in the device and did an Update Library operation. This is my standard method of updating my Plucker library. The newest documents do not appear in Plucker after an Update Library operation. I have run diagnostics on the card, and the card is fine. Windows finds no problems with the file system. I know the files are readable Plucker files, as they open and display on my desktop using a Windows version of FBReader, which supports Plucker files as one of the formats it displays. I've tried resetting the device, and rebuilding the library lit. No change. I moved the PlkrDocList to a card, then had Plucker rebuild the library list from scratch. This wound up with a lot of documents appearing as Unfiled which had been assigned to categories, but did not pick the new files I'd added. (I normally assign categories when I create the Plucker files.) I'm confused. Have I run into a Plucker limit? Is this a bug? Is it a case of "Doctor, it hurts when I do *this!" "So don't *do* that!" Thanks in advance. ______ Dennis _______________________________________________ Public archival of this list without permission is prohibited. http://lists.plkr.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-list
