Dear David,
This problem has stricltly nothing to do with spaces in the name of the html
document because it also happens when I rename the doc into "1.htm", for
example.

I really don't understand what happens.
Here are two examples of html files that doesn't work for me.
You can download the first at PalmGear, it's the manual included in the
latest release of Afterburner : the file named "READ THIS FIRST.htm". Direct

The second example is the txt source of an html file created by sitescooper

forcément <I>«du sens»</I> pour reprendre la formule de
Lionel Jospin. Toute la difficulté du Premier ministre, hier,
était de détailler un bilan déjà bien
engagé en l'inscrivant dans un projet d'ambition plus vaste -
forcément présidentiel dans nos institutions - qui est loin
d'être seulement ébauché. Dépasser l'horizon
gestionnaire pour dessiner d'autres perspectives suppose une liberté
de parole qui ne peut être celle d'un Premier ministre de cohabitation
dont la légitimité est issue d'une majorité
parlementaire et qui doit agir sous la pression permanente d'un rival
élyséen attentif à ses moindres fautes. Sans parler
d'une opinion publique qui, avec du bon sens pour le coup, attend avant tout
des gouvernants qu'ils gouvernent jusqu'au terme de leur mandat. <p>
Un certain emballement politique qui a suivi les municipales semble avoir
contribué à obscurcir les réalités du
calendrier. L'élection décisive est dans un an, et il peut
effectivement se passer beaucoup de choses d'ici là. S'imagine-t-on
seulement l'impact que va avoir dans le pays profond, le 1er janvier
prochain, l'entrée en service de l'euro dans la vie quotidienne?
L'extension à la même date des 35 heures dans les entreprises
de moins de 20 salariés ne sera pas non plus sans effets. <p>
Mais même dans ce cadre qui impose prudence et circonspection, Lionel
Jospin a fait hier soir le service minimum, question «sens».
Quelques piques sur la droite, peu de référence à la
gauche et une bien faible implication européenne de son propos, il a
forcé le trait de l'austère serein qui «fait son
devoir» sans se poser d'autres questions que celles qu'il peut
résoudre à son poste. Tout au plus l'aura-t-on entendu
récuser l'étiquette de «libéral» en
matière économique, ce qui aurait peut-être
mérité d'être plus développé s'agissant de
Danone. Car, si Lionel Jospin a entièrement raison quand il
prévient les impatients qu'une élection présidentielle
se joue <I>«dans les dernières semaines», </I>il peut
difficilement remettre à l'ouverture de la campagne - s'il est
candidat bien entendu - la mise en avant de propositions miracles qu'on lui
reprocherait bien vite de ne pas avoir appliquées avant.</TEXTE></p

The strangest thing is that the first ten html files obtained with
sitescooper doesn't work, but the following does (20.html.... to 44.html).
Why?

P.S. : Do u know where I can find the beta versions of plucker ? I used to
go to ftp://ftp.sslug.dk/pub/ and download the plucker.zip file but it seems
to have disappeared since two weeks... The latest file I managed to get was
Plucker english viewer 1.1.5 - but not the french one, unfortunately. Does
it correct the bug in displaying twice some lines at the bottom of the
screen in viewer 1.1 ?
