Greetings,

I'm becoming a big fan of Plucker, especially since it's been about a year
since we've seen any activity from the iSilo people (and I even sent them
money... grrr).

I also run a small Etext publishing site, the Bandersnatch Unpress
(http://pubweb.nfr.com/~nav/unpress) -- plug. I've been making my
documents available in iSilo mainly since it preserves links within texts
(useful for footnotes on a small screen) and formatting attributes.

I'd like to add Plucker versions of all my files, which is not especially
difficult. I've made tests of several of them, and they all look good with
one small exception: <p align="center"> does not seem to work, the text in
such paragraphs is flush left.

Is the formatting preserved in the pdb file, and the only problem is that
the viewer is not centering the lines? If so, I will go ahead and generate
Plucker pdb's for the Unpress.

If it's a lack in the converter or the database format, I will want to
wait for a fix that will allow me to generate files with the right
attributes in the paragraph tags.

Is this a known problem? I would love to bite into it myself, but I doubt
I will find time to learn the appropriate Palm APIs and do it with any
kind of alacrity... Sorry also if this is a FAQ, but I looked on the Web
site and didn't see it mentioned.

Thanks,

Nick (Bander)

p.s. Anybody working on a new Launcher icon for Plucker? I know it's a
nit-pick, but the current one is kind of... sorry to say... ugly.
