Sorry after that description i do not see what's wrong. But as a hint:
Do not try to copy/move/delete files with the explorer in the Plucker
Directory use the Shortcuts in the Plucker Program group to do the
creation and deletion of DBs. Also use the Shortcuts to call the files
in the Editor for Edding.
Maybe you could _complete_ uninstall Plucker and install it again. If
it still not work you may Post the home.html here and we could verify
this.
