I just downloaded & installed the Windows version of Plucker; Plucker 1.1 SR3. I ran
the executable, and the installation seemed to work fine. However when I run the step
to build the Database (DB Default\Hotsync) it does not gather the specified Web pages.
(I left the home.html file exactly as it was downloaded for this initial attempt.) I
did edit the default DB to insert my user name for the palm pilot.
The parser finds and retrieves the home.html page successfully. However each Web pages
produces the following error message:
Retrieve Failed: 404 - [errno socket error] (10060, 'winsock error')
I do have an Internet Explorer 5 session started before I run the hotsync program. It
seems like the hotsync program is not finding the IE5 session however. I ran it once
without IE5 running, and I got the exact same error message.
Any help would be most appreciated. (My technical skills are limited.)
