Whups!  Blush.  Sure enough, my bad html, and Plucker was doing
exactly the right thing.  I'm surprised I hadn't seen the problem in
other browsers, which should have done exactly what Plucker's parser
is doing.  Fixed the tags and named anchors are working great now.
