Hello All, I have recently got a new mobile phone with an IR modem, and have been trying out the Eudora web browser and email program. The browser is OK, but...
* It cannot download *.prc or *.pdb files (like the prebuilt plucker databases on www.sitescooper.com which pre-condensed, so quicker than browsing online) * Its UI and feature set is primitive (esp compared to plucker - its very effective) which makes it annoying to use. I know that Plucker isn't intended to ever be an online browser, but could anyone recommend one for the palm? Preferably an open source effort! Also, has anyone looked at the following new feature for plucker: When you reach a link in a plucker database that was not downloaded, and the URL is available, would it be possible to provide an auto-link to one or more online browsers? In the case of Eudora, their mail client can call the browser to load links. This would require help from the browser vendor, but I think it would be handy. Thanks to all the plucker team. Peter
