I think my graphics software failed to make my icon a true 1-bit picture.
I used some other software that told me the icon was grayscale!

What't launcher you use? AFAIK it work with the PalmOS Launcher (but
sometimes it lose the icon) and it work fine with LauncherIII (one of
the newer versions). And sure you need also set the launchable bit.
