Hi all, I was wondering if 8 bpp images are already supported with PIL imaging? I'm using version 1.14 and that one doesn't have it.
I searched the mailinglist and found this sent in at Jan 22 2001: http://www.plkr.org/list/1Q2001/0455.html "I'm going to make those changes and get them back to the PIL developers, though my guess would be that it will take a few months for them to percolate out." Is it in the CVS?
