Hi Troy, Marek, and Billy, There is a GPL smooth autoscroll available however in CSpotRun that can increase the speed when doing single pixel autoscroll. However it is not a "snippet", it is a very large piece of extra code that involves complete redraws offscreen and sliding them upwards, and since Plucker renders much more than text, it would make the Plucker viewer significantly larger.
It was decided at the time to keep the viewer as small of a piece of code as possible. This was coupled with the fact that Palm OS5 was around the corner with processor speed which were supposed to be increased by a few orders of magnitude. On a faster processor (as was simulated by Afterburner) looking at single pixel scroll, the results of the current compact code were the same as the CSPotRun approach, without dumping a lot of extra code to weigh down the viewer. Best wishes, Robert
