Font Colors

Hi folks,   Could someone please tell me why the following code displays in monochrome and not in red. I tried “red” instead of hex code also and still no difference. In answer to the obvious, I’m use a color device.   <p><font color="#FF0000">These words are in red</font></p>   Thank you, Robert
