I have used neither Plucker (directly) nor iSilo but that enables to pass a
very pertinent comment (believe it or not). Use Plucker.

Plucker is an open format and I was able to convert my e-text reader
(QTReader AKA Opie-Reader) which runs on the Zaurus and iPaqs running Opie
to read Plucker text. The reader is also being ported by someone else to the
Agenda. It, or plucker itself, can also be ported to any other platform you
like without waiting for the vendors to do it for you. Already more people
have access to the Plucker format than the iSilo format.

Plus you can certainly distribute my reader for free with the content to
guarantee people will have the necessary software and I wouldn't be
surprised if the same applies to the Plucker reader - you can't do that with
iSilo!

So, in summary: Use Plucker

Cheers
Tim

BTW I posted an announcement to the announcements list re QTReader
(www.timwentford.uklinux.net) but haven't seen it yet - is that list
working? And if so, at least I can use this as an excuse to cross-post 8^).
