Another oddity,

After uninstalling plucker and going back to a stable working version I now
receive the following:

Any thoughts as to why this is happening or how I can fix it?

Cheers,

Rob,

I've whipped out UltraEdit and run a Find in Files for
CreateToolhelp32Snapshot in Plucker_Desktop.exe

And this is what it came back with:
----------------------------------------
Find 'CreateToolhelp32Snapshot' in 'C:\Program
Files\Plucker\plucker_desktop\plucker-desktop.exe' :
C:\Program Files\Plucker\plucker_desktop\plucker-desktop.exe(16735): put
file...
C:\Program Files\Plucker\plucker_desktop\plucker-desktop.exe(17525):
Found 'CreateToolhelp32Snapshot' 2 time(s).
Search complete, found 'CreateToolhelp32Snapshot' 2 time(s).

So it would appear that the toolhelp is infact still in there somewhere.

I dont have access to cvs to download the plucker desktop but maybe you can
do a directory scan and search all files with the 'CreateToolhelp32Snapshot'
string in it to try and locate the offending file.

Heath Hansell

Hi Heath,

I am a bit puzzled by that one. Can you verify the
version of the exe you are running somehow?

The Toolhelp32 has been chopped out for almost a month
now.
Here is the cvs files (removed in revision 1.4):
http://cvs.plkr.org/index.cgi/plucker_desktop/os_msw.cpp

When that code was in, every single NT machine
wouldn't run it, so it was taken out. No reports from
anyone else have reported this still being a problem.

Is anyone else able to do a test on NT and see what
the result is?

Best wishes,
Robert
