*** I just had an idea, I will try it without any images and see what
happens.
******* OK, so I tried without images, and it worked. Of course,
eliminating images reduced the number of links retrieved to about a third,
so I am now trying again, with images, but eliminating different images
from it. On the site I am plucking (I have it local so as not to annoy the
owner) the images fall into 3 categories, all of them gifs. I have
eliminated one category for this try.
